Melbourne label and social enterprise HoMie has opened its new store at Emporium, marking ten years of impact and the launch of its Retail Ready program.

The 180 m² modular fit-out uses recycled materials and was designed by Six Degrees to reflect HoMie’s belief in community, creativity and opportunity for more paid employment and retail training opportunities for disadvantaged young people.

Founded in 2015, HoMie gives 100% of its profits towards their mission to support young people experiencing homelessness or hardship, by equipping them with skills, confidence, and experiences to be more work-ready and better prepared for their futures.

To date, they have helped 4000 young people and counting...

We’re inspired by their determination and proud to support the mission with this 2nd store in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD.
