30 Years of Architecture and our Brand New Site

Fallback
Inaugural RAIA Melbourne Prize '97, Award for Meyers Place Bar.

It's been 30 years since the iconic Nylex clock struck a frosty 6° and Six Degrees Architects was born. We're taking a moment to look back at the early days when six graduates designed a bar named Meyers Place using reclaimed materials, so there was finally a place to go for a drink in the city.

Today, Six Degrees has grown into a team of 40, responsible for large scale public and commercial architecture.

Much has changed over 3 eventful decades, but the joy of designing buildings for people remains. A focus on social and sustainable outcomes with the human experience at heart is what continues to define our practice.

We're very excited to share with you what Six Degrees is today and celebrate with the launch of our BRAND NEW WEBSITE. Designed by local Cam Norris with the assistance and video production by our very own Michael Zito and built by Sam Lathe ofStudio-lathe.

Thank you to our team for the great work you do, to our clients and partners, for the opportunities you give us in bringing architecture to life, and to all of you who have been part of the last 30 years and made the Christmas parties so memorable. We hope you enjoy a stroll through our latest projects…
