Arrival Cafe
A semi permanent and relocatable pod, this Café activates the Thomas Cherry building and plaza, the University’s public transport gateway. It follows Latrobe’s master plan to activate and provide amenity with small scale intervention. It is a simple form for transportability and is clad in brass and timber to give a warm and durable appearance. The brass finishes and simple closed form complement the brut concrete of the existing building.

Therapy Lounge
This inviting social refurbishment provides seating for students to study and meet in groups, a snack food tenancy, food heating facilities, and a service window to the adjoining café. Detailed finishes create a warm and friendly environment with timber screening, concrete blocks, planting and wall murals defining the spaces, despite limited natural light, has proved very successful and appreciated by the Latrobe students.

Food Truck Village
Still in development, this addition will provide a festive environment that can be enjoyed in the warmer months.
