Historic bluestone vaults, brought back to life as a vibrant riverside precinct of bars and cafes
Federation Wharf
Six Degrees experience in pioneering spaces that fostered connection and brought vibrancy to underutilised urban nooks, led to the re-envisioned Federation Wharf, a once-neglected waterfront tucked behind Federation Square.
Our work at Federation Wharf embraced the Yarra River and the character of Melbourne’s riverside heritage, transforming the forgotten bluestone vaults into office space and lively hospitality venues. Riverland and public uses, including bike hire and boat tours, draw people to the river's edge, reconnecting this iconic part of the city.
