This project saw the complete refurbishment of The Albert Park Hotel which dates back to 1883. The ground floor is ordered by a radial design that emanates from the bar area to create different rings of communal space for punter. Access is also considered to provide for easy movement through by staff. The radial design is articulated by horizontal timber batons at ceiling level and vertical timber posts that divide the space. Upstairs offers a lush, rich space, conceived as a series of rooms that offer different levels of privacy and communal potential such as functions.
